Class Project: ARTD 222
This poster and brochure was a class project for Typography. We were tasked with creating a poster for Chicago's Latino Film Festival. The goal of this poster was to embody both latin and film culture within one final poster. I approached this by illustrating a Latina women in a traditional Mexican dress with the bottom of the dress reflecting the pattern of a film reel. The purpose of this image was to illustrate the movement and dance that is a film while staying true to Latino culture.
For the brochure, we were tasked with continuing the theme of our poster into a brochure containing the films to be included within the festival. I simply included the details of each film placed over a color corrected still from each film meant to encapsulate the essence of each individual film.
